Villa Dolce Vita combines modern design with unforgettable Mediterranean scenery is found on the Sorrentino Coast which hosts kilometers of beaches and coastline. The Baia Ieranto, Nerano and the Regina Giovanna beaches are a few minutes away where the clear sea laps at the sandy beaches adjacent to the rugged coastline. It is a place where one is stunned with simplicity and luxury, where sunsets seem to last for days and the privacy of extended relaxation extends as far as the eye can see. The villa is a place that lends itself to lounging by the infinity pool with a perfectly poured glass of Lacryma Cristi in the late afternoon breeze coming off of the sprawling lemon groves.
This property is found in the hills near the quaint town of Massa Lubrense about a 20 minute drive from Sorrento. With lots of little towns sprinkled amongst the olive groves, you can find Punta Campanella and the San Paolo monastery with views of Capri, Naples and most importantly a seafront panorama that has inspired poets for centuries. In Massa you can soak up the sun with your family at beaches full of scenery and nature, stroll for twilight down to the seafront to see a stunning sunset. Sorrento is one of the most visited towns in the South of Italy with narrow, colorful streets and bustling piazzas and mosaicked churches. Grab a gelato and sit and watch the world go by in Piazza Tasso, visit the tiled cloister of San Francesco, and peruse the famous wooden inlayed goods at the market as you take in the sea air overlooking the Bay of Naples.
The villa is about one hour from the incredible spectacle of Naples which is full of cathedrals, sea views, history and incredible food. Visit Via Dei Tribunali where you can find the perfect Pizza Margherita, head to San Gregoria Ameno street to see the artisan pastoral crafts or to the National Archaeological Museum housing an incredible collection of antiquities. Shop till you drop on Via Roma to end up in Piazza Del Plebiscito where you will find Castel Nuovo, San Carlo, the oldest opera house in Europe and the Royal Palace. In close proximity is the seafront lined with bars and restaurants and a view of Capri and the Sorrentino Coast.
When staying at Villa Dolce Vita one can visit the famous town of Positano with its steep, white, winding streets bustling to the beach. Perched on a cliff, it is one of the most visited vacation spots and is also part of the Sentiero degli Dei hiking trail. After the scenic trip on the coast, you will find one of the most acclaimed and stunning archaeologic sites in the world at the Parco Archeologico di Pompeii. While learning about the rich history of the lives of the Romans traveling the cobbled streets to Villa Dei Misteri, Casa del Centenario, or the House of the Faun the traveler will be astounded with wonderfully preserved architectural marvels which had been buried after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. You might even have the opportunity to catch a performance in the Amphitheatre during their summer season of music, dance and theatre.
The villa is perfect for a large family or group and it a perfect place for poolside events. It is about 70 km from Naples International Airport. Naples and its central train station and bus stations are 65 km from Villa Dolce Vita. Sorrento is 16 km, Positano is 22 km and Pompeii is 40 km from the villa.
The Property. Arrive at this oasis of relaxation is a Mediterranean garden paradise perched above the sea which is on a private drive with only 5 villas. From the immense terrace one can see the coastline of the Sorrentino Coast, the panoramic seascape which extends as far as the eye can see. The property has modern elegance and luxury in mind which leaves the guest charmed by the clean lines and elegantly picturesque rooms. One of the most significant features of the property is the pool which glistens from the golden sun on the solarium. The town of Massa Lubrense is in close proximity to Villa Dolce Vita so enchanting beaches and shops can be reached in a moment.
This one-of-a-kind villa has a ground floor with designer furniture and elegance, an electronic Yamaha piano for great musical evenings in neutral tones. The corner sofa is by Gervasoni, armchair by Paola Lenti, and the lighting by Fontana Arte floor lamp and Artemide. In addition, the handmade dining table with P. Stark chairs and lamps by Enza Fasano are stunning editions to this one-of-a-kind room with a Bose stereo system and 55-inch curved screen television. There is a bathroom adjacent to the living room and the elevator and a staircase which leads to the upper floors. The fully-equipped, kitchen tiled with warm colours kitchen has stainless steel countertops, a Barazza stove, and a barbeque. It is perfect for leisurely meals cooking Mediterranean delights. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a bathroom for staff and a service area for laundry. the three levels of the villa are connected also by a modern elevator.
On the first floor you’ll find a bedroom which has an access to a large terrace with a Teuco sea view whirlpool and a large bathroom and mini-fridge. The second bedroom is adorned with a unique round bed, a mini-bar, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a terrace with a Teuco tub. Connecting to this room is another double room with a bathroom and a huge garden-side terrace which also has a mini-bar. The first floor has also a bathroom and a living room that opens to a terrace with a wood-burning oven, barbeque, stovetop and sink. This is a place for beautiful evenings entertaining at the two Deruta tables large enough for 20 people.
On the last floor there are 4 bedrooms each with bathrooms and a mini-fridge. Two of the double bedrooms have windows facing the sea which give onto the terrace. The other two garden-side double bedrooms have an artfully-crafted Moorish window. One of the two rooms has two large single beds which can be joined together while the other has a standard double bed. All of the beds are beautifully crafted with memory foam and have flat screen televisions with satellite, Sky TV and a USB socket for mobile and iPad use.
The stunning solarium with crystal blue swimming pool and outdoor shower can be accessed on both sides of the villa through the meticulously landscaped garden, on the left by a stone staircase and on the right by a spiral iron staircase. The Teuco whirlpool bath is facing the seaside along with the Vitrifrigo refrigerator and freezer and stereo. The outdoor space offers views that take the breath away with the garden and solarium. The breathtakingly suave property glows with tones of blues and whites, inviting the guest to enter into another dimension during their stay and the pool area has been designed for wonderful moments of relaxation while you take in rays and relaxation. Villa Dolce Vita also has two parking spaces, outdoor and indoor Wi-Fi throughout the property and effortlessly houses fourteen people in its seven bedrooms.
