The Villa is located close to some of the most famous spots in Capri: the famous Certosa di San Giacomo (Charterhouse of Saint James), the via Camerelle (the street of the most important luxury fashion store) and Via Tragara
(a panoramic road with amazing views on Faraglioni and the sea). The villa overlooks the greatest and spectacular scenario of Gulf of Naples from Mergellina promenade, to Vesuvio, to Peninsula Sorrentina up to the Amalfi Coast, the blue of the sea, the rocky ridges and the lush vegetation of the island make amazing this unique panorama.
Villa Ambra is an historical villa located in the island of Capri. This Italian style villa rental dates to the early 19th century and is dressed in Neapolitan and Spanish design. Pergolas, columns, white
walls, terraces with the lemon trees and exotic plants frame the garden and create a various image of this stunning outdoor. Century old trees are displayed among flourishing flowers and fruit plants enhancing the old world charm and the luxuriant flora of this villa in Capri.
A lovely and wide swimming pool lays on a greatest terrace that leads also to a kitchen garden based on two levels to get fresh fruit at guests disposal. The splendid stone terrace with gardens is perfectly furnished for lounging and alfresco dining, and offers stunning sea views. A large umbrella provides shelter while dining, served by an open-air kitchen with a barbecue and a pizza oven, which can be used for making pizza or roasting meat next to the pool, where drinks or lunch can be served.
In the garden on a shady and nestled terrace take place the wellness area, with a Jacuzzi outdoor and a sauna. To complete the outdoor description, can be worthy of note to mention the wonderful terrace on the top of the house where you can enjoy a terrific view of the island and the Gulf of Naples and where, as the owner promised: the flag of the guests will fly!
Villa Ambra consists of 5 elegantly dressed rooms and an extra bedroom available on request (a living room next door to the master bedroom that can be transformed in a double bedroom). its owners keep in a perfect condition the house, continuously restoring the interior and its garden. The last works are dating back to 2010. The villa consists of a main house based on 2 levels and 2 annexes with independent access into the garden. All the rooms are elegantly appointed with a pleasant mix of antiques and contemporary furnishings and handmade Vietri or cotto tiles, though the main villa is the most luxurious and spacious. The main villa offers kitchen, a living and dining room, with direct access onto the sea view terrace; one master double bedroom has a sitting room which can be converted into an extra, sixth, bedroom (that has its private bath just outside of the room). The master bedroom has en suite bathroom and shower. French doors opens to the terrace.
2 staircases each of 15 steps lead to the lower level bedrooms: on a side there is one double bedroom with en suite bathroom with a large shower. On the other side there is a spacious living and large saloon full of antiques, precious books and elegant furnishings. this level has direct access to the pool.
The 2 annexes are on the left side of the villa, located in the middle of the main gate and the terrace with sauna and Jacuzzi outdoor. Both the bedrooms are double and have en suite bath with shower. All of the rooms in the house have air-conditioning. Wi-Fi internet access covers the most part of the property. The ground floor TV have sat and pay TV system.
