Villa Astrid is an elegant welcoming home just 7 minutes from the center of Praiano facing the sun and the sea. It is 120 square meters (1290 sq. ft.) featuring a private swimming pool, private patio with sea views, a private garden, air conditioning in most rooms and WI-FI Internet access.
The Villa is located in a perfect location to explore the Amalfi area: 6,5 km to Positano, 8 km to Amalfi, 30 km to Pompei and 70 km to the Naples Airport. The villa is located just a few steps to restaurants, bars and the main shops. You will find the nearest restaurant at 5 mt, the SITA bus stop for the Amalfi Coast - Sorrento line is a few meters away and the nearest beach at walking distance. Surrounded by large terraces with lush mediterranean plants and flowers, the villa boasts impressive views of the sea from Salerno to Capri, from Positano to Amalfi.
You can reach Villa Astrid from the street level going up a walkway that includes approximately 47 steps. Parking is free of charge or for an hourly fee, along the public roads (the actual distance may vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).
Outdoor Spaces
The swimming pool is 2 mt (6 ft) x 4 mt (13 ft), and 1.4 mt (4.6 ft) deep. There is a wonderful sea view from here with the Li Galli islands in the distance. The pool is open from mid-April until mid-September.
There is a 80 square meter (860 square feet) terrace and a 60 square meters (645 square feet) patio. They both have sunny and shaded areas with sun loungers, sofa, barbecue, table and chairs and an external shower. There is a fitness center out here complete with a treadmill and a laundry area with washing machine. You can enjoy stunning sea views.
The living/dining room ceiling is vaulted, the furnishings are cozy and comfortable including a sofa, dining room table seating six comfortably, an air conditioning / heating unit and satellite television. From here you can access the patio through a double-glazed glass door.
The kitchen is accessible from both the living room as well as the first bedroom. It features a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and a toaster. You can access the terrace and look over the patio from here.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The first bedroom is accessible from the kitchen by descending two steps. The ceiling is sloped with a matrimonial bed (160 cm, 62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and an air conditioning / heating unit. You can step right out onto the terrace through double-glazed glass doors.
The second and third bedrooms are the same as the first but accessible from the corridor and both give way to the patio.
The first bathroom accessible from the kitchen has glazed white and blue majolica tiles and features a hydromassage shower while the second bathroom, accessible from the hallway has a small window a shower stall and a hair-drier.
