Departure from the hotel by de-luxe motor coach to Pompeii, the roman city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Driving for approx 1 hrs and ½ along the famous Amalfi Drive road, passing all the little picturesque towns, arrival in Pompeii. Guided visit to the archaeological site: With its excavated area, extending for approximately 44 ha, and the preservation state of its buildings, due to the particular burial (under a blanket of 6 meter of ash and rock) caused by the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 A.D., Pompeii can be considered the only archaeological site which gives the real image of roman city. After the visit return to the hotel.

Minori main p/up point: Restaurant Alta Marea 8.15 am

Please be at the departure point at least 5 minutes prior to the pick-up time.
Please find below a list of things we would suggest taking with you:
– Flat comfortable shoes for walking;
– Sun cream, bottle of water, umbrella and/or jumper;
– Camera;
– Money for extras, optional meals and entrance fees (not included);
– Passports in order to get free admittance to State Museums / Excavations (see below).

Clients under 18 are entitled to free admission to State archaeological sites and museums upon production of a valid identity document. From 18 to 25 years upon production of a valid identity document 50% discount on entrance fees. No discounts for Seniors over 65.
On the first Sunday of each month: Free admission to all state sites and museums.
