Explore Pompeii with Augmented Reality: The Past Comes Alive

Our tour leader will welcome you at the entrance of the excavations and explain how the AR glasses work. From there, your journey through time will begin: you will be introduced to the history of Pompeii and the dramatic eruption of 79 AD, immersing yourself in the streets, squares, and buildings of the ancient Roman city. 

With our augmented reality glasses, you can walk through the 440,000 m² of the archaeological site as if you were a real ancient Roman: you will visit the theaters, temples, patrician domus, the bakery, and other public and private spaces; all reconstructed with extraordinary historical accuracy. 

We suggest arriving at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The visit is scheduled regardless of weather conditions, so it is advisable to dress appropriately and comfortably. 

The Tour Assistant will accompany the group for the entire duration of the experience (2 hours), and then return to the starting point where the AR Glasses and accessories will be returned. After the tour, you can still stay in the archaeological park and visit it independently.
